Beautiful Hair Mix - Blonde

Herbal Mixes: Beautiful Hair - Blonde

Contains: Chamomile Nettle Horsetail Shavegrass Oatstraw

Short Description:

The herbal properties of this treatment penetrate only the broken parts of the hair shafts, leaving damaged hair looking healthy and full. The clear silicon creates a brilliant shine and nettle nourishes your scalp. This treatment brings out lovely highlights but does not cover gray hair. The Dark and Red mixtures contain nettle, oatstraw, henna, and horsetail/shavegrass. Strawberry Blonde contains henna, chamomile, nettle, oatstraw, and horsetail/shavegrass. Blonde contains chamomile, nettle, oatstraw, and horsetail/shavegrass.

Here is an herbal hair treatment to be applied directly to your blonde hair.

The herbal properties penetrate only the broken part of the hair shafts, leaving damaged hair looking full, shiny, and healthy. The more damaged the hair, the more startling the results.

This treatment does not cover gray or change hair color. Instead, the high silicon content in the Horsetail fills in the damaged strands, taking with it the subtle colors found in Chamomile and other herbs. The Nettle nourishes your scalp, and leaves the hair looking and feeling full and rich. When light hits your hair, the clear silicon, with just a touch of natural earth colors, causes a brilliant shine.

This hair treatment is messy. It almost looks and smells like cow slobber when it is on your hair. My girls call it Magic Slime because it is green and slimy (they use Beautiful Hair - Dark). Oh, but it is worth it!

I’d suggest you do this when you know you will not be having company, because the odor lingers until shampooed. You might wait until your husband is not around either. He will enjoy the results much better if he doesn’t have to look at or smell the process.

A woman with medium length, medium thickness hair, will need to use 1/4 cup of the herb mix. Some with short, thin hair will only need 1 or 2 tablespoons. Because the short hair will need less of the mix, it will also need less liquid added to it. I will give you a basic recipe for 1/2 cup, which is what is needed for long, full hair. If you require more or less, you will need to adjust the amount of ingredients accordingly.

Recipe

  • 3/4 cup of lemon or vinegar (use lemon for lighter highlights, or vinegar for red/darker highlights)
  • 1/2 cup of Beautiful Hair - Blonde
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil or mayonnaise (optional)

Directions

In a small pot, mix the lemon or vinegar with the Beautiful Hair - Blonde herbal mix. Heat the mixture on the stove for about 5 minutes (don’t let it boil).

Let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes, and mix in the 2 beaten eggs. For those of you with dry hair, add the 2 tablespoons of olive oil or mayonnaise. A bit of Lavender or Rosemary ground into powder can also be added to the treatment at this time to give it a faint, pleasant scent.

Apply the treatment to your hair, ensuring you cover the most damaged parts. Keep the mixture warm by placing a plastic bag over your hair, and wrapping a warm, damp towel around your head.

Leave it on for 45 minutes or so (the longer the better). As the towel cools, you’ll want to warm it up again to get the most out of the treatment.

Without shampooing, rinse your hair, and air dry. Use shampoo the following day. However, if you added the oil or mayonnaise, you may want to shampoo before bedtime to avoid getting the oil on your bedding.

With proper care, this treatment will last a few months.

Shoshana, have any of your friends who are women of color used this product? I would love to know if it makes a difference for African American hair. Thank you so much! Joanna

Would this color be for
by Marcia on Jan 14, 2014

I am wondering which of your hair treatments would be good for my " mouse" brown hair (or "ash"). Excited to try it just not sure which is best for my color.

Re: Would this color be for
by Bulk Herb Store on Jan 15, 2014

Hello, it just depends on the natural highlights that you already have in your hair. If you have some blonde use the blonde mix but say you have slight red hints you could use the red to help pull those out and make everything shiny. Enjoy!

Can I use Beautiful Blonde for my Brown hair?
by Kim on Dec 28, 2013

I've been dying my hair for AGES. I've always had dull brown hair. I occasionally dye my hair a purple wine color but my hair has gotten so frizzy and dull and it's falling out by the handfuls! My Mom has blonde hair and she bought the Beautiful Blonde powder but said she was too nervous to use it and gave it to me; so my question is: what would the blonde do to my brown hair?
Thanks!
P.S. LOOOOOOOOOVE this site and all your videos! ^.^

by Bulk Herb Store on Dec 30, 2013

Hello, you could totally use this for your hair! It would definitely help with the frizziness and we have had great reports of it helping with hair loss. If it would do anything to the color of your hair it would only pull any blonde highlights that you have naturally in your hair already. Thanks!

Let it boil...
by Anonymous on Dec 24, 2013

I was heating the towel and I left the lemon juice and herb mixture on the stove for a min and when I came back it had started to boil.. Does that hurt the herbs or have a effect on the treatment?

    Re: Let it boil...
by Bulk Herb Store on Dec 30, 2013

    Hello,
It's ok to use the herbs you should still receive the same effect it's just best not to let it boil for an extended period of time. Thanks!

Healed my scalp!
by Donna on Dec 18, 2013

I had dry, itchy, weepy, scaly patches on my scalp and dry crusty "scabs" that stayed attached to my hair as it grew out. Gross! If I tried to comb it out, my hair came out with it! I tried medicated shampoos and they only worsened the problem. I tried this product and used as directed, worked it in well to my scalp and hair, but kept it on 2 hours. Was able to comb the "scabs" and scaly patches out of my hair and scalp with no problem. Then I applied a copious amount of coconut oil to my scalp and let it soak in for the rest of the day. I can't tell you what a blessing this product was for me. To finally be able to comb my hair without ripping it out!! To finally not have an itchy scalp! I continue to moisturize my scalp with coconut oil, and whatever I had is clearing up nicely. Patches are getting smaller and less dry all the time. Thank you for this product. It was the reviews of it that convinced me to try it. So glad I did! My 6 year old daughter and I did the treatment together--we both have thin fine hair. She was disappointed that her hair was not longer immediately after the treatment. LOL I had told her it would help it grow and did not explain that it would not be instant! HA

Ok for permed hair???
by Jessica on Dec 16, 2013

I was also wondering if it's ok to use on permed hair? Just paid a lot of money for it, but would like to try your beautiful hair treatment. What do you think?

    Re: Ok for permed hair???
by Bulk Herb Store on Dec 18, 2013

    Hello,
I would recommend trying it on a small part of your hair perhaps in the back underneath everything else because permed hair is super absorbent and you don't know how your hair will react with all the chemicals in it. Thanks!

Hair re growth
by Julie on Nov 24, 2013

Can I mix this with the Amal powder, or is the Amla too acidic for this, & I should use them separately?

    Re: Hair re growth
by Bulk Herb Store on Nov 26, 2013

    Hello,
From what I read, you can add this to help darken the hair. It's mostly used with henna as a hair dye!

by Kim on Nov 9, 2013

My hair is about as long as yours. How much do you use to coat all of it?

Wonderful product!!!

Amazing hair growth!
by Rochelle on Sep 18, 2013

I have found this product so great for stimulating hair growth!!I can't say I noticed any difference in the colour of my hair, but I can certainly notice all the regrowth of my hair! My hairdresser even commented on it. Before I used this product I always lost a lot of hair (the shower plug and my hair brush were always full of hair), but since using this product I can't believe how little my hair falls out! My hair is feeling healthier and thicker since using the beautiful hair treatment. Thanks!!

What if I don't use shampoo?
by Rs Mom on Jun 24, 2013

I use a little baking soda and diluted a/c vinegar once a week. How should I proceed with the Beautiful Hair - Blonde? Thanks,

That's fine! You can proceed as normal.Thank you!

Permed hair
by Charity on Jun 24, 2013

I just did this treatment for the first time last week. I love it!!!
I am now wondering about it for a friend. Her hair has a perm and she is concerned about what it might do to it. I know it helps strip the build up off so wondered what it would do to the perm chemicals.

blonde treatment
by Evelyn Cantu on Jun 10, 2013

I have medium dark brown hair with natural reddish golden highlights.
My goal for awhile has been to convert my reddish tones into golden for the summer, that way I could have more of a golden/brown overall appearance.
Do you think this blonde treatment could help achieve that since it grabs on to light tones?
Thanks a lot for your feedback
-Evelyn

    Re: blonde treatment
by Bulk Herb Store on Jun 13, 2013

I would try it if it was me as it does usually lighten highlights, I can't guarantee though that it will take out the reddish highlights, you may need to do more than one treatment for best results.

For use on color treated hair
by Michelle on May 31, 2013

If I use this on my hair that has been color treated will the color turn out differently on the color treated section vs my natural outgrowth. I have long dirty dishwater blonde hair and currently have about 4 inches of outgrowth and the rest of the hair has been color treated a lighter blonde. Will I still have two-toned hair if I use this on my whole head?

Thank you

Re: For use on color treated hair
by Bulk Herb Store on May 31, 2013

It will possibly make your hair a little more blonde, it will at-least bring out highlights more, but it will still leave you with two-toned hair, it will just bring out the highlights in both colors.

White/platinum hair
by Laura on May 21, 2013

This product sounds wonderful and I would love to use it to strengthen my hair, but you don't have one for white hair. Would the one for blonde work for me?

    Re: White/platinum hair
by Bulk Herb Store on May 23, 2013

I'm not sure what the Chamomile would do to white hair, so if it was me I would just mix up my own with just the nettle, horsetail/shavegrass, and oatstraw in equal amounts and also not use the lemon juice when you mix it up. You could just use plain water or try the vinegar although I'm not quite sure what that would do to white hair either but I think it would be fine. You may want to try it first on a small patch of hair or leave it out.

take internally
by Jean on Apr 9, 2013

I am just wondering about the benefits of taking the henna-free blonde mix internally. I presume it can be done safely, as chamomile, nettles, shavegrass and oatstraw are all things I have used in teas and I see you do as well. But I am wondering if I started taking some of this premixed powder in a smoothie each day, as well as using the treatments on my head monthly, if I might see more improvement faster. Thoughts?

    Re: take internally
by Bulk Herb Store on Apr 30, 2013

It should be perfectly fine to take it as the nettle, oatstraw, and horsetail are especially good for the hair! You can also check out our article called Rapunzel Hair!

shampoo
by Rebecca on Jan 31, 2013

Is there a certain shampoo that is better to use on hair after this treatment? there are just so many different kinds and its hard to know which, and where to find it.

    Re: shampoo
by Bulk Herb Store on Apr 12, 2013

I would try to stay with natural shampoos as much as possible. You can usually find natural shampoos at a health food store or online.

I absolutely LOVE it!!!!!!
by Mary Eash on Jul 10, 2012

I will start out by saying that I Absolutely LOVE the way Beautiful Hair-Blonde made my hair look and feel-Wonderful!!!! My hair used to be dry and frizzy, and really course and brittle; and it would also get really, really oily the more I messed with it-I mean Really oily! Since I used the Beautiful Hair-Blonde, my hair has become soft, silky, and shiny! I am SO happy with the results! I will definitely be using this hair product from now on!

I LOVE It!!!!!!!!!
by Mary Eash on Jul 8, 2012

I absolutely LOVE what it did to my hair!!! Before I used Beautiful Hair-Blonde, my hair was kinda dry, and really frizzy; but it got oily very easily and quickly. My hair is a very dark blonde/light brown, but after using the Beautiful Hair product, it really brought out the blonde in my hair. Also, my is not frizzy like it normally is, and I can tell that it is a lot finer-soft and loose- and shinier. I will definitely be using this hair product from now on!

This stuff is awesome!
by Pamela Haas on Jun 21, 2012

This stuff is awesome! I had a hair stylist trash my hair using so called "organic" hair color products to the point that my hair was breaking and falling out in handfuls. The stylist told me I needed to check my hormones and refused to consider the issue was her coloring products. Coincidentally, my hair started falling out about the time she changed the color of my hair, about a month later and got progressively worse with each treatment. After I went to another stylist, who confirmed my suspicion about problems with the product, I decided to stop coloring my hair with synthetic products. I had to cut at least 6 inches off my hair and was in danger of losing all of it had I not stopped.

I decided to try the beautiful hair and was skeptical. It smells like herbs, not bad at all, and my husband doesn't mind it either. But for people who don't like the herbal smell, it might be a problem. But after the treatment I was amazed at the difference. WOW!! My hair stopped breaking and falling out! It repaired my split ends and made my hair stronger and look healthier. My hair is fine so longer than 45 minutes is not better. I do it for the recommended time and that is perfect. I tried it once for about an hour and my hair felt almost like straw, a little too strong, though it did not break. I tried the blond, but plan to try the dark soon as my hair is dark blond or light brown. I also used coconut oil instead of olive oil the second time and each time after, and I felt it absorbed into my hair better and helped with the dryness. I added a little lavender powder to make it smell better and that helped too. Thanks so much for this!

This is really great stuff.

I am 54 and my hair simply is not as nice as it was and it is thinning more than I like. When I saw this treatment - it sounded great. I am a master herbalist and I really like to use natural things on my hair. The treatment was messy like she said it would be but the results were really fantastic. My hair simply drank up the nutrients and was so nice when the treatment was finished. I treated for over an hour because I really wanted to nourish my scalp. It lasted for two to three months until I felt that I should really do it again. Here I sit at 6AM with the second treatment on my head. It is worth every penny and there are more than 4 treatments in the bag, Try it, and if the slime does not scare you away, you will love the results: smooth, fuller body, glossy and easy to manage hair with better color!

Thanks for the great product!

What a great way to naturally restore health to my hair and shine too!

This worked fantastically on my daughter's dry curly hair! It was also a fun mother-daughter project to do, even though it was a gooey mess.
