Beautiful Hair Mix - Blonde

Herbal Mixes: Beautiful Hair - Blonde

Contains: Chamomile Nettle Horsetail Shavegrass Oatstraw

Short Description:

The herbal properties of this treatment penetrate only the broken parts of the hair shafts, leaving damaged hair looking healthy and full. The clear silicon creates a brilliant shine and nettle nourishes your scalp. This treatment brings out lovely highlights but does not cover gray hair. The Dark and Red mixtures contain nettle, oatstraw, henna, and horsetail/shavegrass. Strawberry Blonde contains henna, chamomile, nettle, oatstraw, and horsetail/shavegrass. Blonde contains chamomile, nettle, oatstraw, and horsetail/shavegrass.

Here is an herbal hair treatment to be applied directly to your blonde hair.

The herbal properties penetrate only the broken part of the hair shafts, leaving damaged hair looking full, shiny, and healthy. The more damaged the hair, the more startling the results.

This treatment does not cover gray or change hair color. Instead, the high silicon content in the Horsetail fills in the damaged strands, taking with it the subtle colors found in Chamomile and other herbs. The Nettle nourishes your scalp, and leaves the hair looking and feeling full and rich. When light hits your hair, the clear silicon, with just a touch of natural earth colors, causes a brilliant shine.

This hair treatment is messy. It almost looks and smells like cow slobber when it is on your hair. My girls call it Magic Slime because it is green and slimy (they use Beautiful Hair - Dark). Oh, but it is worth it!

I’d suggest you do this when you know you will not be having company, because the odor lingers until shampooed. You might wait until your husband is not around either. He will enjoy the results much better if he doesn’t have to look at or smell the process.

A woman with medium length, medium thickness hair, will need to use 1/4 cup of the herb mix. Some with short, thin hair will only need 1 or 2 tablespoons. Because the short hair will need less of the mix, it will also need less liquid added to it. I will give you a basic recipe for 1/2 cup, which is what is needed for long, full hair. If you require more or less, you will need to adjust the amount of ingredients accordingly.

Recipe

  • 3/4 cup of lemon or vinegar (use lemon for lighter highlights, or vinegar for red/darker highlights)
  • 1/2 cup of Beautiful Hair - Red
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil or mayonnaise (optional)

Directions

In a small pot, mix the lemon or vinegar with the Beautiful Hair - Blonde herbal mix. Heat the mixture on the stove for about 5 minutes (don’t let it boil).

Let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes, and mix in the 2 beaten eggs. For those of you with dry hair, add the 2 tablespoons of olive oil or mayonnaise. A bit of Lavender or Rosemary ground into powder can also be added to the treatment at this time to give it a faint, pleasant scent.

Apply the treatment to your hair, ensuring you cover the most damaged parts. Keep the mixture warm by placing a plastic bag over your hair, and wrapping a warm, damp towel around your head.

Leave it on for 45 minutes or so (the longer the better). As the towel cools, you’ll want to warm it up again to get the most out of the treatment.

Without shampooing, rinse your hair, and air dry. Use shampoo the following day. However, if you added the oil or mayonnaise, you may want to shampoo before bedtime to avoid getting the oil on your bedding.

With proper care, this treatment will last a few months.

take internally
by Jean on Apr 9, 2013

I am just wondering about the benefits of taking the henna-free blonde mix internally. I presume it can be done safely, as chamomile, nettles, shavegrass and oatstraw are all things I have used in teas and I see you do as well. But I am wondering if I started taking some of this premixed powder in a smoothie each day, as well as using the treatments on my head monthly, if I might see more improvement faster. Thoughts?

It should be perfectly fine to take it as the nettle, oatstraw, and horsetail are especially good for the hair! You can also check out our article called Rapunzel Hair!

Is there a certain shampoo that is better to use on hair after this treatment? there are just so many different kinds and its hard to know which, and where to find it.

I would try to stay with natural shampoos as much as possible. You can usually find natural shampoos at a health food store or online.

I will start out by saying that I Absolutely LOVE the way Beautiful Hair-Blonde made my hair look and feel-Wonderful!!!! My hair used to be dry and frizzy, and really course and brittle; and it would also get really, really oily the more I messed with it-I mean Really oily! Since I used the Beautiful Hair-Blonde, my hair has become soft, silky, and shiny! I am SO happy with the results! I will definitely be using this hair product from now on!

I LOVE It!!!!!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE what it did to my hair!!! Before I used Beautiful Hair-Blonde, my hair was kinda dry, and really frizzy; but it got oily very easily and quickly. My hair is a very dark blonde/light brown, but after using the Beautiful Hair product, it really brought out the blonde in my hair. Also, my is not frizzy like it normally is, and I can tell that it is a lot finer-soft and loose- and shinier. I will definitely be using this hair product from now on!

This stuff is awesome!
by Pamela Haas on Jun 21, 2012

This stuff is awesome! I had a hair stylist trash my hair using so called "organic" hair color products to the point that my hair was breaking and falling out in handfuls. The stylist told me I needed to check my hormones and refused to consider the issue was her coloring products. Coincidentally, my hair started falling out about the time she changed the color of my hair, about a month later and got progressively worse with each treatment. After I went to another stylist, who confirmed my suspicion about problems with the product, I decided to stop coloring my hair with synthetic products. I had to cut at least 6 inches off my hair and was in danger of losing all of it had I not stopped.

I decided to try the beautiful hair and was skeptical. It smells like herbs, not bad at all, and my husband doesn't mind it either. But for people who don't like the herbal smell, it might be a problem. But after the treatment I was amazed at the difference. WOW!! My hair stopped breaking and falling out! It repaired my split ends and made my hair stronger and look healthier. My hair is fine so longer than 45 minutes is not better. I do it for the recommended time and that is perfect. I tried it once for about an hour and my hair felt almost like straw, a little too strong, though it did not break. I tried the blond, but plan to try the dark soon as my hair is dark blond or light brown. I also used coconut oil instead of olive oil the second time and each time after, and I felt it absorbed into my hair better and helped with the dryness. I added a little lavender powder to make it smell better and that helped too. Thanks so much for this!

This is really great stuff.

I am 54 and my hair simply is not as nice as it was and it is thinning more than I like. When I saw this treatment - it sounded great. I am a master herbalist and I really like to use natural things on my hair. The treatment was messy like she said it would be but the results were really fantastic. My hair simply drank up the nutrients and was so nice when the treatment was finished. I treated for over an hour because I really wanted to nourish my scalp. It lasted for two to three months until I felt that I should really do it again. Here I sit at 6AM with the second treatment on my head. It is worth every penny and there are more than 4 treatments in the bag, Try it, and if the slime does not scare you away, you will love the results: smooth, fuller body, glossy and easy to manage hair with better color!

Thanks for the great product!

What a great way to naturally restore health to my hair and shine too!

This worked fantastically on my daughter's dry curly hair! It was also a fun mother-daughter project to do, even though it was a gooey mess.

:)

Thanks so much!

Hi: Just wanted to let you know that I received my books on Monday, May 2. Everything was just perfect. My favorite so far is the cookbook Nourishing Traditions. What a wealth of information it contains! I am amazed at how very naive and ignorant I am with respect to the manufacturing and marketing of our foods. I have shared so much with my husband and, as a result, we are committed to making continual and life long changes. I have to say also that The How to Herb Book is continually found in one of my children's hands. They are quite open to learning and trying. May your business continue to bless those who find it and may God continue to Bless your business! I will place an order for the herbs as soon as I determine which ones my family would most benefit from.

With much gratitude.
~Holly
