Beautiful Hair - Strawberry Blonde

Herbal Mixes: Beautiful Hair - Strawberry Blonde, Organic

Contains: Nettle Horsetail Shavegrass Oatstraw Henna Chamomile

Short Description:

The herbal properties of this treatment penetrate only the broken parts of the hair shafts, leaving damaged hair looking healthy and full. The clear silicon creates a brilliant shine and nettle nourishes your scalp. This treatment brings out lovely highlights but does not cover gray hair. The Dark and Red mixtures contain nettle, oatstraw, henna, and horsetail/shavegrass. Strawberry Blonde contains henna, chamomile, nettle, oatstraw, and horsetail/shavegrass. Blonde contains chamomile, nettle, oatstraw, and horsetail/shavegrass.

Here is an herbal hair treatment to be applied directly to your strawberry blond hair.

The herbal properties penetrate only the broken part of the hair shafts, leaving damaged hair looking full, shiny, and healthy. The more damaged the hair, the more startling the results.

This treatment does not cover gray or change hair color. Instead, the high silicon content in the Horsetail fills in the damaged strands, taking with it the subtle colors found in Chamomile and other herbs. The Nettle nourishes your scalp, and leaves the hair looking and feeling full and rich. When light hits your hair, the clear silicon, with just a touch of natural earth colors causes a brilliant shine.

This hair treatment is messy. It almost looks and smells like cow slobber when it is on your hair. My girls call it Magic Slime because it is green and slimy (they use Beautiful Hair - Dark). Oh, but it is worth it!

I’d suggest you do this when you know you will not be having company, because the odor lingers until shampooed. You might wait until your husband is not around either. He will enjoy the results much better if he doesn’t have to look at or smell the process.

A woman with medium length, medium thickness hair, will need to use 1/4 cup of the herb mix. Some with short, thin hair will only need 1 or 2 tablespoons. Because the short hair will need less of the mix, it will also need less liquid added to it. I will give you a basic recipe for 1/2 cup, which is what is needed for long, full hair. If you require more or less, you will need to adjust the amount of ingredients accordingly.

  • 3/4 cup of lemon or vinegar (use lemon for lighter highlights, or vinegar for red/darker highlights)
  • 1/2 cup of Beautiful Hair - Strawberry Blonde
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil or mayonnaise (optional)

In a small pot, mix the lemon or vinegar with the Beautiful Hair - Blonde herbal mix. Heat the mixture on the stove for about 5 minutes (don’t let it boil).

Let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes, and mix in the 2 beaten eggs. For those of you with dry hair, add the 2 tablespoons of olive oil or mayonnaise. A bit of Lavender or Rosemary ground into powder can also be added to the treatment at this time to give it a faint, pleasant scent.

Apply the treatment to your hair, ensuring you cover the most damaged parts. Keep the mixture warm by placing a plastic bag over your hair, and wrapping a warm, damp towel around your head.

Leave it on for 45 minutes or so (the longer the better). As the towel cools, you’ll want to warm it up again to get the most out of the treatment.

Without shampooing, rinse your hair, and air dry. Use shampoo the following day. However, if you added the oil or mayonnaise, you may want to shampoo before bedtime to avoid getting the oil on your bedding.

With proper care, this treatment will last a few months.

Its amazing!
by Hannah Roberts on Jun 21, 2012

I just got done with this treatment and I had to post a review! I didn't read all the directions, I just watched the video that Shosanna has on this. Thus I didn't wrap my treated hair in plastic OR a towel to keep it warm. But I still got great results, my hair is shiny and silky soft. It looks so much healthier. I can't wait for mid summer when I'm planning on doing another treatment with my sisters and then going swimming to wash it out! I also have very dry ends but my hair will get greasy quickly, so instead of oil I replaced one egg with a egg sized blob of mayonnaise. I will be recommending this to my family and friends!! Love that it's totally natural!

Love this hair stuff!!

I have blonde hair and tried the strawberry blonde hoping for a few red highlights. My hair feels awsome and it has some slight red-ish highlights in the sun, nothing too dramatic. I will definitly do this again!

Amazing results!
by Stanley & Katherine Martin on Jun 13, 2012

I used your Strawberry Blonde Beautiful Hair for the first time. It's awesome!! My hair was in great shape compared to what it used to be because I have been using Shampoo without Sodium Laurel Sulfate; so I couldn't really tell that it made it softer or silkier. It did, however, bring out gorgeous highlights & wonderful shine!! Wow!! Now I have deep red & blonde highlights! I used it with Apple Cider Vinegar & Lemon Juice...mainly cuz I ran out of the vinegar! The other amazing thing is what it does to split ends. I only trim my hair once a year & it was looking fairly rough this year & I was thinking I'll probably have to take close to 3" off. :( But after the treatment, it sure looks alot different on the ends! I think I only need to take 1 1/2 - 2" off now!!! Enjoyed the video, followed the instructions to a "T" & kept it warm with a hairdryer. I have looked at the herb Henna different times before at other web stores, but was unsure how to use it & if I really needed it. They all acted like it really dyes your hair & that was NOT what I wanted! You gave alot of info & explained the nourishing aspects of it. I REALLY liked that! :) Will definitely use this one again sometime & will recommend it to others in the meantime!! And yes, it was a bit messy, but SO worth it! Thanks again!

I LOVE to Experiment
by LE from Georgia on Jul 28, 2009

I'm 14 and I love to experiment, so obviously this product was irresistible to me. I have medium brown hair that is already very
healthy, but I bought the strawberry blond mix anyway. My mom helped me put it on even though she really didn't like the idea of me slathering green goo on my hair. Well, I love the results! Glossy hair, and gorgeous highlights! I will be using this hair treatment regularly from now on!

Beautiful Hair - Strawberry Blonde!
by Megan on Mar 7, 2008

WOW! This stuff was great!! I didnít really think it would do a whole lot, but it has definitely made a difference!! I used lemon juice and vinegar for the red and the blond and after I put the mix on my hair and the plastic bags, I used a blow dryer to keep my hair warm (not the whole time). And I would definitely recommend you taking a brush or comb with you in the shower/sink when you rinse the herbs out! Thanks for the Beautiful Hair - Strawberry Blonde! It worked great!!
