Accessories: Happy Gut Dietary Supplement

Our modern diet not only deprives our body of ideal nutrition, but also fails to deliver the “good” bacteria that our gut needs in order to function optimally. Improper digestion takes a toll on your immune system and can leave you feeling tired, bloated and grumpy. Even if you are taking all the right supplements, without good digestion, your body can’t properly absorb vitamins, minerals and nutrients. However, when the gut is happy, the rest of the body will be brimming with energy and vitality!

We give you Happy Gut Dietary Supplement, a superior and unique blend of natural enzymes, herbs, and probiotics that are essential to healthy digestion. This wonderful probiotic blend provides more than 2.5 billion live, active probiotics and is full of some of our favorite life-giving herbs. Beet Root, Chamomile, Ginger, and Peppermint enhance the probiotic composites to soothe, restore, and promote excellent health for the digestive system. Happy Gut acts as a catalyst to help your body properly absorb and utilize the vitamins, minerals and nutrients you need for rich, vibrant health. We bring you the best!

Get Some!
by Kim on Oct 29, 2014

I tried this about 2 months ago and found that it helped me immensely with the ExHusbandMonster/stress induced ulcer-like symptoms that I've been suffering from for a few years now. I used it all and thought about re-ordering but hadn't gotten around to it but upon my return home after 2 weeks of a vacation with no stress I sure was sad that I didn't have any on hand. Lo and behold I found 3 capsules in my allergy med bottle that I'd stashed and immediately took all 3. My gut was SO happy today! I'm 100% better and I highly recommend it to anyone who has gut issues

Cleared up my yeast
by Alisha on Oct 28, 2014

I just wanted to leave a review for anyone who is thinking of taking this product for treating yeast infection...
I have had a yeast infection since July, that was so bad it was even coming out of the skin under my arms. By October, I was freaking out pretty bad over the fact that I couldn't get rid of it. I didn't want to go the traditional medical route, but I was getting pretty desperate! This was going to be my last effort before my husband would ask me to go get some meds from the doctor...
I got the Happy Gut and started taking 2 capsules 3x day with meals (double the suggested amount). I believe it has been about 3 weeks now, and I am finally yeast-free!!!!! I could see results within a few days, and now I'm confident that it is all gone, so I will be going down to the normal dosage.
It's a great product :) And I finally feel "normal" again! Phew! Thanks BHS!

Allergy Aid
by Rachel on Jun 27, 2014

My daughter was born with severe allergies that caused her skin to erupt in constant hives. She is allergic to: eggs, dairy, wheat, oats, corn, soybeans, and all kinds of nuts. Because of this she has been on a restricted diet, but even with all of our precautions she still had regular "flare-ups", because keeping food away from a crawling baby/toddler is nearly impossible. I ordered a bottle of the Happy Gut and started putting one capsule in her morning bottle, and within two weeks I noticed her skin was smoother and more clear than it had ever been. She has now been taking one supplement daily for the past two months, and the difference has been astonishing. She ate two (TWO!) cupcakes, and had no adverse reaction. Things that would usually cause her skin to break out in a full body hive/rash now simply cause a mild rash on her cheeks. As a mother, I can not tell you how relieved and happy I am that she is doing so well. I am beyond grateful!

This product will not necessarily cleanse the gut of toxins, but it will provide good bacteria so that the gut can function better. Thanks!

Digestive problems
by shasta on Mar 3, 2014

I had a bladder surgery a year ago. I was on antibiotics for about 8 months daily. I have digestive issues like: bloating, constipation, acid reflux, and pain. Also, I was recently diagnosed with eczema. Would happy Gut be a good place to start and where would I go from there?

    Re: Digestive problems
by Bulk Herb Store on Mar 10, 2014

Yes, Happy gut would be a great place to start for healing your digestive system! Try Eden's Salve where ever your eczema breaks out and it will help keep the red and the itch down.

food sensitivities
by Brenda on Jan 16, 2014

I have food sensitivities to wheat & dairy which cause inflamation. This also doesn't help with weight loss even though I am cutting back on these foods. Would this be something I could take daily to help with this?

    Re: food sensitivities
by Bulk Herb Store on Jan 20, 2014

Hello, I would recommend taking Red Clover Tops and Turmeric for the inflammation. But Happy Gut would also help your body get good bacteria and help you digest your food better. Thanks!

Curing Psoriasis via the guts with Happy Gut
by Susan Lawing on Jan 3, 2014

Hi...Do you know how effective Happy Gut will be in fixing intestinal flora damage that has resulted in life-long (38 years<>) psoriasis that has also been (apparently) passed on to my daughter. From research I've done, i have come to learn that probiotics can be useful in curing diseases that appear on the skin, but start in the guts, such as psoriasis and came here to do more research and order whatever will help my daughter I most.

Hello, Happy Gut would be a great addition to your diet. It is not only a probiotic but also a digestive aid. I would also recommend taking Pau D'Arco for the Psoriasis if you haven't tried that as well. Thanks!

As long as you are taking them at different times, there should be no problems with interactions. Thanks!

Happy Gut and Detox +
by Sharon on Oct 2, 2013

Hi, Thanks for all your work and input. Can Happy Gut and Detox + be taken in the same protocol for leaky gut? I would guess the Happy Gut would need to be taken an hour or two before/after the Detox +. Thanks for your response.

Re: Happy Gut and Detox +
by Bulk Herb Store on Oct 4, 2013

I would just take the Detox+ in the morning and Happy Gut around lunch. That way the Detox+ doesn't interact with the Happy Gut. Thanks!

by Abbie on Aug 27, 2013

Is there a way to get it in loose form without capsules? I like to sneak it into smoothies.

    Re: powder form
by Bulk Herb Store on Aug 27, 2013

You would just have to pop open the capsules. We don't sell the powder in bulk at this time. Thanks!

There are no ingredients that are wheat based in Happy Gut nor is it made where wheat is processed. It's just not certified gluten free at this time. Thanks!

Breast feeding?
by Stacey on Aug 26, 2013

Should I take one or two while breast feeding? My gut is so unhappy right now, it's no joke!

    Re: Breast feeding?
by Bulk Herb store on Aug 27, 2013

You can take two as normal! Thanks!

by Kristina on Aug 24, 2013

Can this be open and put in a smoothie or just water/juice since my child cannot swallow pills yet?

    Re: Question
by Bulk Herb Store on Aug 27, 2013

Yes, you can just open the capsule and mix it with a drink or food.

by Lois on Aug 23, 2013

Does Happy Gut contain dairy, egg or gluten proteins? My littles have allergies to those items and finding a good probiotic that doesn't contain those (especially dairy and gluten) can be difficult.

    Re: Allergens?
by Bulk Herb Store on Aug 27, 2013

It does not have any wheat or egg product but it does have acidophilus lactobacillus, a bacterium that is used to make yogurt and to supplement probiotics.

Shelf stable
by Marci on Aug 23, 2013

Does it need to be stored in the fridge?

    Re: Shelf stable
by Bulk Herb Store on Aug 27, 2013

The best place is on a shelf where it remains dry and at room-temperature or cooler. It is not necessary to store them in a refrigerator or freezer. However, the products that contain probiotics will maintain a longer shelf-life if stored refrigerated.
