Henna Leaf (red) - Powder

Herbs: Henna leaf (red) - powder

Common Name: Henna
Latin Name: Lawsonia inermis
Origin: Pakistan

Henna is best known as a natural dye for the hair. Our research has shown that henna not only colors hair, but its conditioning properties help bring body, life and vibrancy back to dry or damaged hair. Henna permeates the hair shaft to strengthen and enrich your hair, giving it a distinctive, natural radiance not found with chemical-based coloring.

From Our Reading and/or Experience...

  • Henna can be used to benefit anyone: men, women (including before, during or after pregnancy, and nursing), children and animals.
  • It can be used as often as you would like.
  • As is the case with most herbs, Henna should be stored in a dark, dry, and cool place.

THE REAL HAIR COLOR
by Stacy on Mar 11, 2013

I love your henna, I use to get boxes of red color at the store and it would not last even for 6 weeks and my gray was showing up in 2 weeks again.
I bought your henna last May and tried it , I love the way u can leave it as long as u want in your hair and it didn't make my scalp burn and itch and I was finally the redhead I always wanted to be lol! It also got rid of my dandruff too believe it or not. Love it! Ty Bulkherbstore! Stacy of Bailey, MS

I live on a Greek island and there is such an abundance of herbs growing wild! However,I don't really know what they all do and how to best use them. Thanks for this fantastic site which I discovered through NGJ! I would like to give all mamas a healthy alternative to baby lotion.

Heat 2 cups of good quality olive oil with a handful of chamomile flowers (dried) and pour in a jar and allow to cool. Store in glass for future use. I use it on the children after their bath by massaging and they warm up in seconds! It also seems to help in healing cuts and abrasions.

Did you know that chamomile actually means apple of the ground in Greek (because of its apple-like smell)?

Thanks once again! ~Arlene
