There are muscle soothers, and again, there are muscle soothers. Through the combined knowledge of several people, we were able to come up with this amazingly effective combination. Every ache and pain you ever had just melts away.

If you are one of the thousands of ladies who have back or neck pain, and/or are married to some hard working HE-man who needs a good back rub every once in a while, this is your soother. It beats Icy Hot or any other rub on the market. It’s easy to make, inexpensive, and will keep on the shelf until you need it. It feels smooth as it is rubbed in, and causes deep relief.

This remedy is pleasant to use and it can help to dissolve bruises and alleviate muscle pains (inflammation) resulting from heavy physical training or injury (including a torn or pulled muscle). It is easy and fast to prepare.

Recipe:

1/2 cup Arnica flowers - whole
1/2 cup St. John’s Wort - cut
1 tsp. Cayenne pepper - powder
1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon - powder
2 1/4 - 2 1/2 cup lard, Vaseline, or coconut oil

In a saucepan, heat (very low heat, slow simmer) equal parts of the premixed herbs with Vaseline or lard for several hours or longer. Allow to cool to very warm, strain several times until clear of herb parts, then pour into a short large mouthed jar. It will firm up. A number of our customers have successfully used this to deal with their rheumatism, tendonitis, arthritis, etc. For temporary relief of any joint pain, apply all over the affected area. In just minutes, you’ll start to feel the pain disappear.

Relieves Pain

Hi! I purchased and made the muscle soother cream a while back. I haven't used it much because I wasn't sure what to use it on. I am fairly new to herbs and found that when I used it in place of the icy hot or ben gay type ointments we used to use, it didn't work quite the same, so I set it aside until recently.

I am expecting my 9th child and have experience severe carpal tunnel pain along with nerve compression in my hands and wrist and some arthritic and circulatory problems. It has been debilitating. Nothing has helped alleviate the pain. One night while wandering around the house in pain, the Lord brought to mind the soother cream. I remembered there was cayenne and cinnamon in the cream and that they both worked to reduce swelling and promote circulation, so I thought I'd give it a try. I rubbed the cream on my wrists and fingers making sure to pay special attention to my joints and fingers. After a few minutes, the pain had been alleviated enough that I could rest for a while. I was so grateful and excited!! I have since been using it every night and though it doesn't take away or treat all the pain, it has alleviated enough of the pain to make it bearable. I am so grateful to the Lord for bringing it to my mind! Thank you too for sharing your knowledge!
