Resolution Fiber Mix

Herbal Mixes: Resolution Fiber Mix - Organically Grown Herbs

Contains Organically Grown: Flax Seed, Chia Seed, Psyllium Seed Powder.

Mix 2 tsp. Resolution Fiber mix into an 8 oz. cup of juice or water (cranberry or orange is best). Take 30 minutes before each meal. This mixture does a great job of naturally suppressing your appetite because it expands and makes your stomach feel full.

The Bottom Line by Shoshanna Easling

By now, most New Year’s resolutions have fallen by the wayside—and perhaps to the bottom if your resolution was to lose weight! Maybe your approach was wrong. Dieting is usually not effective in the long run. Low calorie diets will enable you to lose weight fast, but they will also usually lower your metabolism. What’s wrong with that? Lower metabolism means your food will not burn off as fast. Your body will be expecting less calorie intake because of the diet. Then you stop your diet. As soon as you stop it, you will gain weight faster than ever before.

How can you lose it and keep it off?

Clean your colon out. Try Detox+, cayenne, aloe, ginger, garlic, psyllium seed, and other cleansing herbs. Keep everything flushed daily. Drink lots of filtered or spring water and daily take in fiber, flax seed, chia seed, oat bran, rolled oats, whole grains, and whole wheat.

Get your liver and kidneys working right. If they function properly, your body can better process foods and eliminate waste. Look to milk thistle, burdock, dandelion root, fennel, bilberry and, of course, plenty of filtered or spring water.

Accelerate your metabolism with herbs and exercise. Get your heart pumping. Exercise at least three times a week, at least 30 minutes each time. After exercising, have a big glass of an energy herb drink like green tea, ginseng, nettle, or all three mixed.

Curb your appetite. Feed your cells richly with vitamins and minerals. This is believed to reduce cravings. Try nettle, fennel, bilberry, and chia seed. Taking a teaspoon of psyllium mixed well in 8 oz. of water or juice 30 minutes before you eat will curb your appetite, making you eat less. It also helps regulate bowel movements.

Feed your cravings. If you know that you crave sweets around a certain time, plan on feeding it with something that will satisfy the craving and help you lose weight. Try a cup of hot or cold herbal tea with honey and a dab of milk. Creamy and sweet! Try spiced chai tea, green tea, jasmine green tea, or Double E Immune Booster (one of my favorites with honey and milk). Carrots are pretty sweet too!

Eat whole foods high in fiber and lean protein. This includes foods like beans, whole grains, raw nuts, seeds, fruit, vegetables, wild game, and more. Stay away from processed foods. They are fat makers. You are likely to eat some processed foods but remember, even if it doesn’t seem like a lot of food, it is fat food. Things like potato chips and cookies are highly processed and highly fattening.

capsule

Can this be put into capsules?

    Re: capsule
by Bulk Herb Store on Apr 1, 2014

    Hello,
We have not tried putting this into a capsule. It would probably be a little difficult because it does have whole chia seeds and flax seeds. I would recommend mixing in grape juice and drinking it down. It doesn't taste bad at all if you take it this way! Thanks!

    Hello,
Unfortunately we cannot give out our recipes for any product that we sell. However, we do provide the list of herbs in our mixes so that you can play around with the recipe yourself! Thanks!

Fiber with Detox+
by Raina on Jan 26, 2014

I am going to use this with the detox and was wondering if I have to take it before each meal or if once or twice a day will suffice. I am not interested in losing weight or suppressing my appetite. Thanks!

Hello, if you are going to be taking it to help flush the Detox+ out I would recommend taking it about 1 hour after taking the Detox+. Thanks!

Resolution fiber vs Detox
by Petrina on Jan 15, 2014

Hello, would the resolution fiber or the detox be bettter to take once a week for health. I understand detox is more based on a cleanse. but would it be sfae to take once a week for long periods of time

    Re: Resolution fiber vs Detox
by Bulk Herb Store on Jan 20, 2014

Hello, We don't recommend doing any kind of detox for an extended period of time. However you could do a rotation of different things. You could try 2 months of Detox+, 2 months of the fiber, and then 2 months of Erin's Green Drink Mix. However since we are not medical professionals we recommend that you speak with your healthcare provider before doing anything for long term. Thanks!

Safe for Nursing?
by Mandi on Feb 2, 2013

Can I take this while nursing? Would this be a good partner with bentonite clay? I had some almagym fillings removed and want to flush my body but am breastfeeding.

Yes, that should be fine! Just make sure you drink plenty of water to ensure everything gets flushed out!

How much fiber can I expect to get from each serving? Thanks

We don't actually have nutritional facts on the fiber mix so we don't have the amount of grams per serving.

How often should this be taken?
by Barbara on Jan 14, 2013

Is this fiber mix ok to take while pregnant? Also, im not taking this to lose weight just to keep my body healthy and keep everything moving. Should I still take this before every meal or just once or twice a day?

Re: How often should this be taken?
by Bulk Herb Store on Mar 29, 2013

I would not use it for myself because I have read about flaxseed being unsafe during pregnancy, i.e. can stimulate menstruation and contractions. Also may harm the fetus, so I would suggest doing your own research and decide for yourself!

There is the possibility of flaxseed not being safe, so for myself, I don't think I would take it, however, you are welcome to do your own research and decide for yourself!

Resolution Fiber is wonderful!
by Abigail Lassiter on Jun 21, 2012

I received my order just a couple days ago and am so pleased with the quality of your products!
The Resolution Fiber in particular is wonderful! What an easy way to make sure I am getting enough fiber in my diet.
Something really great about Resolution Fiber is even when mixed in water, it doesn't taste funky at all. Definite bonus when I hand my husband a cup of dirty looking water. :)
