Swelling Relief Tea

By Debi Pearl
Do you have swollen feet? It is not only uncomfortable; it can also be a threat to your health. If you don’t think it is serious enough yet to consult a doctor, I can give you a natural remedy with no side effects but very effective in relieving the swelling.

*Switch from store-bought salt to sea salt for your family.
*Stop eating salty foods, which would include chips, fries, popcorn, etc.
*Stop adding any extra salt on your food.
*Every day, eat raw vegetables such as celery, parsley, cabbage, etc.
*Start adding a little sesame seed oil to your daily diet.
*Learn to snack on unsalted seeds and nuts.
To make it easy to maintain this with your regular diet, keep a pitcher of herbal Swelling Relief Tea in the refrigerator. Every morning, put a cup of the herbal liquid in the blender and add a stalk of celery, a teaspoon of sesame seeds, a teaspoon of sesame oil, and a spoonful of green drink powder. Blend, and drink your swelling away. Be careful, your ring might fall off.
Swelling Relief Tea includes corn silk, which is a diuretic and an antiseptic. It is also good for kidney function. Stinging Nettle is high in potassium and chlorophyll and is an excellent diuretic. Citrus peel helps reduce muscle spasms and can help correct varicose veins. Cinnamon is helpful in maintaining blood sugar and is an antiseptic.
Sea salt, sesame seed, and sesame oil can be bought in most health food grocery stores. Green drinks are also readily available from many sources. I use Barley Life Xtra because it is good for me, and it tastes so good! (www.4abundanthealth.com)

I ordered the Restful Sleep herbs because I have been having difficulty sleeping for the past few months. I have been taking Tylenol PM (which leaves me feeling so tired even after waking up) or Benadryl. I had 3 babies in 4 years, and my bladder seems to want to empty itself 2 or 3 times during the night which interrupts a good night's sleep. The day I received the herbs, I was so anxious to try them that I made some tea with 1 Tbs. per cup of boiling water, and let it steep for 30 minutes. Then, strained it, and added some honey. I drank it about an hour before bedtime. That was the FIRST night in months that I did not go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Over the counter medicine usually makes me so tired that I can't see straight, and if I wake up in the middle of the night, then I cannot get back to sleep on my own-very frustrating! But the herbs are different. I never felt overly sleepy, yet fell asleep in just minutes, and did not wake until the sun came up!! I realize that a tincture would probably be more beneficial for my children to take, so today I will go get some glycerin and follow your directions.

I also ordered The ABC Herbal, and it was very informative because my children are ages 6, 5, and 3. I cannot wait to try some of the remedies because I just hate the idea of giving them cough syrup or allergy medicine anymore, if it can be straightened out with good old common sense knowledge. I thank you for providing all these resources on your website. I have had a deep desire for a more practical way of handling illnesses but when things come up it seems easier to just give them whatever is in the medicine cabinet. Today, I am ordering another book to better educate myself, and the next time something does come up, I will already know how to handle it. I will make my own "medicine" at home from now on. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Keep up the good work!
