Product Description

Award winning author, Debi Pearl, steps into troubled waters writing a book for children instructing them how to respond if a sexual predator makes an advance. The predator can be another child, a family friend, an older sibling, a sports coach, a church leader or another relative. Sara Sue Learns to Yell and Tell is the second in a series of books addressing the subject of children dealing with sexual predators in a mature way.

The Yell and Tell series of books is written in a musical rhyme and rhythm that children love. They will also be more inclined to remember what they read by this type of writing. It is told in a simple story telling manner introducing a delightful young girl named Sarah to lead the way.

Children as young as four years old through pre-teens will find the story captivating, as well as instructional. Sarah is discreetly challenged with situations concerning sexual advances. Each time, Sarah thinks her way through and is always ready to "yell and tell".

Giving a child this simple knowledge is arming them with wisdom to always yell and tell. This is a priceless tool for parents as they seek to protect their children from those who seek them harm.

Protecting Your Family

I love being a mother! I have two wonderful children that light up my life. They make every day like the 4th of July. It is amazing what children can do to the heart. Jeremiah James is 6, and Penelope Jane is 20 months. They make life colorful, fun, and hilarious!

The other day my husband and I were talking about our future. We were discussing the possibility of buying a connecting property to ours. The discussion was about what we would do with the extra house. I said, “I can see one of our kids living there.” James replied, “No kid is going to want to live by their parents or in-laws.” I laughed, “I can see Jeremiah and his wife living there.” From behind the couch we heard Jeremiah say, “You guys gotta find me a girl that is good look’n, good cook’n, wise, and that smells good. Mom you can teach her how to cook.” James and I almost fell apart laughing. Children come up with the funniest things.

The world we live in is a growing number of statistics. Statistic show that 1 in 3-4 girls and 1 in 6 boys are molested by the age of eighteen. “Like rape, child molestation is one of the most under reported crimes: only 1-10% are ever disclosed.” -FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin. It is heart breaking.

I want to protect my children in every way I can. One way I do it is by reading the the Yell and Tell books to them. The books are colorful and rhythmic, with stories of children that are prepared and protected from this evil. Preparing your children will make them confident and help to protect them from predators. I love that these books help protect the innocence of my children. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Make sure you talk to your children so that they are prepared. “Those Prepared are usually spared.” -Yell and Tell Books

Thank you for addressing this subject that seems to be so neglected at such a high price to the victims.

From our Mailbox

When our family begins to get the sniffles, I prepare a simple concoction of
the following in a small dish:

½ cup chopped onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 inches of ginger, minced

Drizzle ¾ cup of non-pasturized honey over the mix of fresh herbs and cover
with a lid. In a while, you will notice a runny liquid forming on top; this
is an extraction of the ingredients. Use this liquid as a cough syrup
throughout the day. Our colds do not usually last more than 2 days with this
easy and effective concoction!

This combination can also be used in a tea form. Simply brew a cup of mint
or chamomile tea and add some of the above mentioned liquid along with some
freshly squeezed lemon juice. Non-pasturized honey can also be added to
taste. This tea works just like Neocitran without the use of drugs or
chemicals!
