Premixed Remedies: Very Berry Tincture

VERY BERRY TINCTURE
Contains: Bilberry fruit powder, Bilberry leaf, Elderberry fruit, Red Raspberry, Orange Peel.

This combination is one of our favorites! Bilberry has anti-aging properties. Bilberry also improves visual acuity both at night and in bright light. Elderberry fruit has been marked for its amazing immune boosting property. Elderberries and red raspberry leaves are used to reduce swollen or inflamed tissues. Red raspberry leaf and orange peel are high in vitamin C.

Directions:
Fill a clean glass jar with 2/3 of herb mix, maybe a little more. Fill jar with 90 proof rum or whiskey, screw lid on, label including all the herbs. The alcohol will break down the herbal properties in about 3 weeks. Shake once a day to help keep all the herb loose. After 3-4 weeks strain herbs off and throw away. Honey can be added to liquid tincture to make it more palpable. Keep tincture in a place out of sun and not too warm. A cabinet works great!
