Did You Know Fermented Drinks Can Boost Health and Happiness?

Did you know fermented drinks can boost health and happiness? They are becoming all the rage, and with good reason- they are amazing for you! A good probiotic supplement helps to keep your gut healthy and happy, but you shouldn't stop there. Fermented foods and drinks like sauerkraut, pickles, sourdough bread, and kombucha are vital for gut health as well. If your gut is healthy your whole body tends to function better, helping you feel better too! I am continually amazed at the amount of grocery stores that now sell kombucha or water kefir. Until a couple years ago Whole Foods was one of the few places you could find them. It looks like people are catching on to the need for probiotics and are looking to get them in more ways than just yogurt. Fermented drinks from the store can empty your pocket book in no time flat. Thankfully, you can make them for mere pennies at home.  An added bonus is that they are simple to make.  Kombucha, water kefir, and yogurt are delicious on their own, or the perfect base for a verity of smoothies and beverages. I like to keep batches of water kefir and kombucha on hand at all times in beautiful bottles like these moresca bottles.
