I make tea every-which-way. A mug with a strainer for chunky teas, ceramic tea pot for chai, and stove-top in a sauce pan for Resolution tea.

I usually bring my water to a boil, then turn off the heat, then add the herbs to the pot, put a lid on it and let it steep for 20-30 minutes. Then strain and sweeten add cream, and then I have the whole batch ready to drink by the cup fulls....if my daughters leave me any that is. :)

So is the best water to use for tea distiller?

I'd use any kind of pure water that doesn't have chemicals added to it. Spring or well water, bottled water, reverse osmosis, etc. Just some healthy purified water. Hope that helps Atalie!
