Cardamom Pods, in tandem with Cinnamon and Cloves, are a common spice used in many European countries. Cardamom is oftentimes used in creating the unique flavor of the popular Chai Tea.

Like many herbs, Cardamom not only smells fresh and adds fuller flavor to your favorite herbal teas, it also offers incredible health benefits including assisting in digestion and detoxing. It also has antiviral and antibacterial properties. The pleasantly fragrant pods are rich in many vital nutrients such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, riboflavin, niacin and vitamin C.
