I had fallen across a wood burning stove and knew I was going to have to use my hands to push myself off. Doing so caused terrible burns on the palms of both of my hands. I slopped prepared mustard on both burns. The pain was immediately gone and didn't return for probably 45 min. I reapplied the mustard and NEVER had any pain again. I don't know what causes the mustard to work but I've been known to deliver a container of mustard to people that are taking pain medication trying to stop the pain of burns.

WOW! THANK YOU!!! I (literally) just received my NEW, PRINTED catalog!!! Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but I still like to "peruse" a catalog and have all of the available selections at my fingertips. Your web-site is amazing, and I reference it quite often, but I am so thrilled to have my new catalog to look at whenever I want to. I can take it in the car and read it; I can stash it with my cookbooks to refer back to the recipes again and again; OH! the possibilities are endless!!!! One VERY grateful customer,
Did You Know?
After childbirth, a mama's body is gearing up for breastfeeding. It also begins a cleansing process as chemicals, hormones, and nutrients are all adjusting to proper levels as before the pregnancy. The liver, kidneys, colon, etc. are all very involved in this cleansing. Herbs that aid in this process are known as liver cleansers and as blood purifiers. Amazingly enough, many of the liver cleansers and blood purifiers also promote milk production. Some of these herbs are: Fennel, Fenugreek, Blessed Thistle, and Dandelion. Most of us may not see the relation between breastfeeding and cleansing. However, God provided the herbs that aid the new mother to get both jobs done. The Mama's Milk Tea recipe was contributed by one of our readers, and includes herbs for after birth.
